Eww! What is it with old guys hitting on me. In the last 2 weeks, five older ¹ men have tried to chat me up.

The worst was meeting someone who seemed presumably nice to talk to (and didn’t even look that ² old), and he asked me where I got my “looks from” I answered “umm my mother?!” then he started asking for my number. I said no I don’t give out my number, repeatedly he kept begging “I’m not the kinda guy who will call you at 3am, I just want to take you to a movie or something.

He had mentioned before that he came from Port Hedland (the old town I used to live in, where my family still live) and I said to him, who do you know from Hedland? He answered “I used to go out with (insert name here)” and I just looked at him and said, “My mum?”

The look of shock and horror on his face was priceless. My mum’s ex-boyfriend from when she was 18 was hitting on her 21 year old daughter! Disgusting!

I didn’t know what to do, I just laughed and asked him what his name was so he told me before adding do not tell your mum about this. He got up quickly and left, embarrassed.

I called my mum up straight away and told her, we laughed together and she said, so he’s still the same dirty old man praying on young girls.
