Sleepless Nights
I swear this insomnia is getting to me. I am cranky, moody and just plain tired, yet I can’t sleep.
Two nights ago I told Carl to take away the modem at night and hide it so I am not tempted to stay up. Yet without the internet I still stay up. I was tired, seriously my eyes were droopy and my head was spinning. But I lay down for 2 hours and can’t get a minutes sleep. I tried everything from taking a bath, turning off all lights and sound, holding my breath. Everything. Yet I was still wide awake.
At 2am I got up and went on the computer, opened Photoshop and tried making something creative. Got frustrated, closed Photoshop and then opened Illustrator. My brain was swimming with thoughts and ideas yet I couldn’t produce them. It was like i was in some type of “zombie” state. After an hour on the laptop I made myself some Vegemite on toast. Then for the next 2 hours I watched boring infomercials. OMG I have seen those bloody things a million times yet I sat there for 3 hours straight and watched them. I learnt about ProActive, Principals Secret, Tony Robinson and those sharp knives “that can even fillet a fillet!”
After I watched that I went back to the laptop, and made a ton of smilies and another font. Then I went back to bed and watched a movie. Then finally I drift off to sleep, I feel so relaxed, I start dreaming. Then BEEP! It’s time to get up and go to work.




whoa, you should get something that helps you sleep, coz that’s no good :O
lucky you got your money back that time someone stole it hey..some people are such idiots! urgh i hate it. i don’t really want to keep my money in my pocket while i’m working because lately money has been missing from the 2 registers i work on with 3 other people, and i’m guessing if it gets any worse they’ll start checking our pockets lol..but i guess i’m going to have to keep it on me coz i dont want it stolen again

Urgh, I’m so sorry that you’re losing sleep - not a clue how to help it - I lived on sedatives while I was like that. Not good for you indeed.

Try having a mug of hot milk before you go to bed (or in my case: Hot Chocolate) so you’re warm and/or a hot bath. That way you’re relaxed and warm. Make sure your room is hot as well and add extra blankets. I’ve been doing the same - and although it doesn’t quite make me fall to sleep any early it means when I do, it’s nice.
I hate the sound of my alarm.

I’m sure Australia is a nice place! Although the weather might be a bit “depressing”
The weather here is not so nice either… it’s damn coooold sometimes! Hate it 
Oh I WISH I would live in Italy! My godfather does… I myself live in Finland… not pretty much to say about that hehe

The weather here in Aus isn’t depressing at least for me! Oh you should get some help with your sleeping probs. My mum tried sleeping tablets once but her mouth felt really dry in the morning ..

I used to not be able to sleep. I tried switchin my pillow to the other side of the bed and it works! oddly..but yes! try it =)

Wow, that sounds like you never slept.
Welcome in the same club! I tell myself everyday: go sleep at a decent time. It usually ends up at 2 AM. –’
I looked around your site for a while (yep, like 30 minutes xD) and I really like it. It’s so simple, yet classy.
