Layout

I like simple layouts too! Yours is very nice! I just think it would look better if your background was a darker grey. Oh and the ‘G’ in Into The Rain.org on your header gets slightly cut off. Well at least in my browser (Mozilla Firefox, one of the recent versions) but no biggie!

About Me This page is great. Lot’s of content to look at photos, pets, your name (And none of that generic name generator shit!) The only thing I would suggest is adding more pictures of yourself but you probably are going to add more anyways.

Domain Ah. I love domain pages. Your’s is great. Maybe adding your past layouts? Awards won? Reviews received? You know the like. Also most importantly credits.

My Artwork Wow. These are great. I did visit Blee Designs and the designs were great but sadly I am only reviewing Into The Rain. My favourite piece on this page is the girl painting with the rainbows and swirls. I think you should put the option of enlarging them to their full size.

Visitor Content Very nice. Your adoptables say you made them on MSpaint but you also animated them of PSP or something so you should write made on Paint and blah blah. All your graphics are cute. Your tutorials are great and easy to understand and you actually made your fonts, unlike some who just get them from Dafont!!!

Wow thanks for such a quick review. I am glad you enjoyed my site and very happy that I received 5 stars. I have noticed the G gets cut off, I have been meaning to fix that. Also the background used to be a darker grey, but I think it over-powered the layout too much so I lightened it. I have been wondering what to put in the domain section. I dont have any previous layouts for Into The Rain because its a new domain. I have added a review section for the reviews I receive. Also I contemplated a credits page, but I don’t need one because the whole site is made by me, and there are credits in the footer (host, wordpress etc). The animated pixels were only recently added, I forgot to mention I used Imageready for that. Thanks for the compliments on my portfolio site too. I haven’t left an option for larger view, as I don’t want people stealing anything, and if they really want to view the larger version they can go to my portfolio - where it is watermarked as blee-designs.net and not intotherain.org. Anyway, thanks again for the great review I will try working on more domain content and take your advice.

No this is not one of those crappy googleisms that go something like “Bobbi-lee is…” I already know from those googleisms that I am a “Struggling Indian rebel” and a “Canadian porn star”.

This is something different. I go to Google and search my full name and found things online that are actually of me not just someone by the same name.

1. My portfolio Blee Designs tops the list
2. Next is the One Million Masterpiece that I signed up for, except I didn’t do the artwork yet.
3. Pilbara Music Festival - I was in that almost 7 years ago and it’s still online with my name and the song I sang “Colours of the Wind”
4. A picture of me and 4 other class-mates (about 5 years ago) when we visited Murdoch University and had an article in the paper. I wish I saved the picture, as it is no longer online.
5. My old old old website that was hosted at notwithoutyou.com (no longer online, was cached).
6. My Delta Goodrem Forum username page.
7. My BingBox page. Gee I don’t even remember making this. LOL!
8. My sister’s old old msn spaces.
9. An old thread on Vexels regardng web hosting.
10. My sister’s bebo page.   Funny how searches on my name bring up my sisters stuff.

I swear this insomnia is getting to me. I am cranky, moody and just plain tired, yet I can’t sleep.

Two nights ago I told Carl to take away the modem at night and hide it so I am not tempted to stay up. Yet without the internet I still stay up. I was tired, seriously my eyes were droopy and my head was spinning. But I lay down for 2 hours and can’t get a minutes sleep. I tried everything from taking a bath, turning off all lights and sound, holding my breath. Everything. Yet I was still wide awake.

At 2am I got up and went on the computer, opened Photoshop and tried making something creative. Got frustrated, closed Photoshop and then opened Illustrator. My brain was swimming with thoughts and ideas yet I couldn’t produce them. It was like i was in some type of “zombie” state. After an hour on the laptop I made myself some Vegemite on toast. Then for the next 2 hours I watched boring infomercials. OMG I have seen those bloody things a million times yet I sat there for 3 hours straight and watched them. I learnt about ProActive, Principals Secret, Tony Robinson and those sharp knives “that can even fillet a fillet!”

After I watched that I went back to the laptop, and made a ton of smilies and another font. Then I went back to bed and watched a movie. Then finally I drift off to sleep, I feel so relaxed, I start dreaming. Then BEEP! It’s time to get up and go to work.
