First ImpressionI absolutely love your layout. Well, the blue one (I’m not too fond of the pink color of the other skin…and since I don’t like that layout very much, I won’t bother to talk about it). I also love the font and the colors of the text you chose for this layout. The only thing I can suggest is making the font one size bigger (the content) because that font is too small for me.

Back to why I love your layout, I really like the glowing effects and the pretty pattern in the background of the banner. The headers are very nice too. This layout is simple but very elegant.

OMG, you make your own fonts. That’s soooo neat. And it’s not those crappy fonts…it’s those pretty fonts! Ahh…I am loving your site already.

Your layout loads fast and is compatible with Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7.0. As for other browsers, I have absolutely no idea what your layout looks like.

NavigationYour navigation is easy to browse through and since you have a small list of links, there’s not much to say…by the way, I can’t switch to my favorite theme (I kind of stopped reviewing for two weeks now). Anyways, I will review based on the pink layout now.

ContentI now remember why I’d stopped reviewing your site…I was browsing through your art and I was so amazed by them. Then I got kind of distracted by going to your graphics site. Anyways, onto the content!

    1. My Name: Shouldn’t boys be boy’s? After-all should just be after all. Onto the “My Cat Jasmine”…Carl refused at first and for a month he didn’t like the idea of a cat, he hates cats. is a run-on sentence. You can stick a semi-colon before the “he hates cats”. and thats should be “and that’s”. talk me out of it, secretly she wanted this cat for herself. should be something like “talk me out of it, because secretly she wanted this cat for herself.” watching TV, she should have an “and” in between the TV and she. On the very last sentence (before he loves jasmine), there should be a comma. By the way, some of your pictures overlap your navigation.
  1. About Me

    1. Under your history, you should really space out your paragraphs or indent them. It just looks messy to me the way it looks right now. I was so excited that I would have a hosted site, she set up an account and I was ready to make my site. is a run-off sentence. I suggest putting a semi-colon after site. wehad should be “we had”.
  1. Domain

    1. Since most of your “intro” on each page starts on the left, why don’t you do the same to the “intro” on the artwork page. The size of the images are alright to me but I really suggest making two pages for them. Liked you said, the images may take a while to load (imagine on dial-up users…). But my favorite image is the girl with the rainbow!
  1. My Artwork

    1. Line-Art Tutorial: I’m interested in the pen-tool, and I did learned a few things from your tutorials. By the way, you should really open your links into a new window so I tend to browse through other sites without going back. Your bullets aren’t aligned under tips:
  1. Visitor Content

CodingI have a feeling your coding is based on Wordpress…if that’s the case, then I can’t say much about your coding (I’m sort of lazy to review your code right now…).OverallI am really impressed with your artworks! Overall, I really like your site because your posts are quite interesting to read and your artwork is amazing. Well, I hope your sites will continue to grow and prosper!

Nothing makes me more proud…

..than seeing this.

Ultrasound

My niece or nephew to be.

Edit: Look what I found.

These are from like 2-3 years ago when my sister was dating that guy in the background, and this is at the Australian Idol auditions. It was taken by some Nokia peoplem who were advertising the new (at that time) Nokia phone and its picture message quality. I remember them taking it and putting it on the website. They gave us that weird hand to hold and it vibrated and wriggled its fingers when the camera clicked, resulting in people screaming and laughing. LOL those were the days :)

Maternal Instincts

Posted by Bobbi-lee - March 11th, 2007

I am so in love with Jasmine right now. In a previous post I said she was scared and jealous of the new kitty. Today I let him out for a little walk, well it was more like wobbling, and he walked towards her. Usually at this point she would have ran away.

But today, she leant in to lick him, and not just a quick lick, but a full on grooming session. It was like her maternal instincts kicked in. She even layed down beside him and let him cling to her fur, whilst she cleaned him all over. She then fell asleep with her arms [paws] around him. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen, I went over to her and gave her a pat and told her she was a good mummy. She purred and loved the attention. If my camera was fixed I would have taken so many pictures.

I have named the forever-growing kitty, Thomas.
