Married? (and new theme)
Edit: Made a new theme, featuring my fave colours, my fave flower and Thomas, my kitty. I coded it in Firefox yet it looks better in Internet Explorer. It also works in Opera. The sidebar is down the bottom if you’re wondering.
Last night I had what Rose would call a WTF moment.
I was at the late-night store getting some last minute groceries, when my mum called me. She said I have a serious question, and I want you to tell the truth. I was thinking “what is she on about?” then she asked me “Did you and Carl get married? Are you already married and having a baby?”.
WTF? Weird huh? Well apparently 3 people in the last week went up to her and congratulated my mum on her daughters wedding. She thought maybe I had gotten pregnant and had a court registry wedding without telling anyone.
As if I would do that, I want a big wedding with all my family there, and even if I did get married I think I would have told my own mother. I wonder where people got this idea, I have only said I am engaged, I never said I was married.
Omg your poor Mom must have thought she missed your big day!!! It’s crazy how rumours and stuff can be spread so easily. Like wtf though, where did the pregnancy and marriage story come from?! I really don’t get it..

Yeah its funny how rumours spread quickly. My sister is pregnant so maybe people got us mixed up and though I was pregnant and married, but my sister isnt married though so it is confusing how people make asuptions

That would be really weird! How on earth would people get the idea that you were married and having a baby? Maybe something freaky is going on, who knows. Hmm, well I hope you mum put them right.
Hehe, the new theme is cool - I use Firefox, so I can’t really say whether it is better in IE.

i use opera and FF, and it looks FABULOUS in both 
anyway, advance congratulations for your wedding, whenever that may be 
that IS a WTF moment — maybe the people who went to congratulate your mom made it to be an april fool’s joke?
…just really wanted to say your entire domain is gorgeous. you practically make everything from scratch! you’re just awesome.

yeah it could have been some April fools thing, I found out one of my good friends said to my mum she wouldn’t make the wedding because she was having a baby in October, and my mum didn’t know about the date we were going to set for October, we haven’t set it for then now, still deciding. But still, it is wierd.

well, frankly I don’t know whether I want to be a graphic designer anymore… if it’s anything like the course I definitely don’t!
I was soo stressed out it was unbelievable..and I was no good at most of the stuff. So I’m just going to get a job for this year and then maybe next year if I don’t like my job I’ll go back to TAFE and get a “diploma in business (advertising)”, which sounds much simpler but still in advertising, lol.

I love the layout, it looks adorable and Thomas is most adorable. *squishes* Wow, that would have been crazy. People can be weird sometimes, they get this small piece of information and it spirals into the whole big deal and everyone seems to add their own little bit to the pot haha. It has happend with me before, not the same topic, but things like that.

LOL about your mom thinking that you were married already. What’s funny is that someone I know was engaged, her parents never knew, and she also got married, which her parents may not know to this day… The funny part is that she wanted a big wedding with ALL of her family there and everything, yet, she just had a court registry wedding…
So maybe that’s why people thought that you might have gotten married already? You could have “changed your mind” somehow… LOL.

seriously though, you should treasure that, so when your mum catches you smelling like ciggies, you can tell her “this is coming from a woman who thought i was married… come on mum”. haha

Alistair- Funny thing is, I do smoke but my mother doesn’t know about it. I deny it to her point blank, she would kill me if she knew. I always blame the smoke smell on my fiance.
