I have never seen snow so it would be really magical for me. And at least in snow it would be cold enough to be able to wear jackets and warm clothes all day, because winter here you wear a jacket and by lunch its too hot, but if you take it off its too cold and you never win. I am used to warm weather, I grew up in Port Hedland which is usually over 35 degrees Celsius every day (we have been up to 49 degrees) and I can easily cool myself down rather than warm myself up for winter. I much prefer winter. Of course, you probably don't have pretty snowfalls but there's something so serene about a blanket of snow over the landscape, and feeling like you're the only person out in the world because everyone else is tucked snuggly into blankets and sipping tasty, hot drinks from coffee mugs in front of fireplaces. It is wet, of course. I have this issue of water traveling up the back of my pants legs, and soaking the back of my legs up to my knees. Splashing is inevitable but, though I can like the rain just as much. At least when it's cold, you can do something to warm up but when it's warm, doing something only makes you warmer. Bleh. I also love thunderstorms. I sleep so well during them. Unfortunately, rain often brings humidity which no one likes. alas. Maybe you would prefer a real winter. -w- I would gladly take your cold.
