BlogDay 2007

Posted by Bobbi-lee - August 31st, 2007

I like to stumble across new blogs and add them to my feed if I enjoy them. Most of the blogs I visit, my regular visitors would know about because I see them commenting there too. I have a few great blogs I never comment1 on so here is a chance to let them know I read their blog and for visitors to my site to find some possibly interesting blogs. If you haven’t participated in blog day, feel free to comment me with some of your favourite blogs.

BlogDay was created with the belief that bloggers should have one day dedicated to getting to know other bloggers from other countries and areas of interest. On that day Bloggers will recommend other blogs to their blog visitors.
With the goal in mind, on this day every blogger will post a recommendation of 5 new blogs. This way, all blog readers will find themselves leaping around and discovering new, previously unknown blogs. Source.

Aflux.net I love this blog, I only recently discovered it a few months ago and have been reading it since. I love how Anna words her posts, they are always interesting, witty (and sometimes emotional) to read for light entertainment.
CreativeFoodGlutenFree I found this blog whilst searching google blog search for my old hometown. I enjoyed reading the posts about my old town and it let me reminisce about the place. I also found her food posts and recipes to be quite interesting though I am not really someone who likes to cook.
Melilyn I can’t remember how I came across this blog but I liked the posts and I kept myself busy going through the archives for a great read. I found the next site from this one as I believe2 they are close (real life) friends.
Eruantale Same as above, I enjoyed reading through the archives and this kept me entertained for a while. My favourite from her and probably most original post I have read on a blog has to be Games that require little more than imagination. I had a big laugh at this one
Clemwalrulsness I just enjoy reading her blog, but more so I love reading her reviews.

1. Not because I don’t like your blog. There are several reason’s I don’t comment. Some are because I am new to the blog, I don’t feel the need to comment on the particular post, I didn’t have much to say except “Great post” which is rather boring, or I just couldn’t be bothered.
2. I think. I may be wrong.

  1. Hey thanks for the link! I’m glad my posts are so entertaining, haha. For the record, Meli and I are “online” friends—which is a somewhat ridiculous term because obviously my online “life” and my real life are very much connected. But we’ve never met before, since she lives in Oklahoma. But I swear I’m making her fly out here the next time the Oregon Shakespeare Festival performs Hamlet ;)

So, you’re the 500th comment on my site!

What would you like as a prize?

  6. I just saw your new screenshot on Perfection so I came to check out the new layout. I love it! The deep green up top is really pretty, and all the shades of green are nice. Cute ladybug.

  7. Wow, thank you! I’m honored you mentioned my site. I think that’s a neat idea, the whole “Blog Day” thing. I might have to try that out.

PS: the ladybugs are too cute.
