A new place.

I am not back with all the blogging as yet, but I did make a new layout. It is now my favourite, with two colours I think compliment each other, as well as the fact that it is a fluid width layout. It doesn’t look too good in IE, but I am working on that. I also decided against using the theme switcher, and comment plugs.

On Friday I went with my sister to her second ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby. It was the most incredible thing ever, to see a little baby on the screen kicking and moving, and knowing it was inside my sister’s belly. I can’t wait to meet him. Yes, that’s right, she’s having a little boy! She was really hoping for a girl, but a healthy baby is all that matters, and she is so excited over her little baby boy.

We have finally moved apartments too, we didn’t end upon the 7th floor much to my delight, we are on the second, and the view is great. Far better than the boring view of apartments opposite and pool below. We now have two angles to view, with the hills in the distance, the tree’s, other houses, and the big park. The apartment gets really warm though, because it faces West, we have the room for the majority of the day filled with sunlight. The sunrise is amazing. The other side we were on was always cold and shady. From our bedroom window we see the highway, which Jasmine is amazed at because she sits in the window sill, eyes darting left and right wondering what on earth these blobs of colour driving back and forth are.

Married? (and new theme)

Edit: Made a new theme, featuring my fave colours, my fave flower and Thomas, my kitty. I coded it in Firefox yet it looks better in Internet Explorer. It also works in Opera. The sidebar is down the bottom if you’re wondering.

Last night I had what Rose would call a WTF moment.

I was at the late-night store getting some last minute groceries, when my mum called me. She said I have a serious question, and I want you to tell the truth. I was thinking “what is she on about?” then she asked me “Did you and Carl get married? Are you already married and having a baby?”.

WTF? Weird huh? Well apparently 3 people in the last week went up to her and congratulated my mum on her daughters wedding. She thought maybe I had gotten pregnant and had a court registry wedding without telling anyone.

As if I would do that, I want a big wedding with all my family there, and even if I did get married I think I would have told my own mother. I wonder where people got this idea, I have only said I am engaged, I never said I was married.
