Sebastian Anthony Jon finally decided to enter the world, 8 days late, on 16th August at 23:23pm. He weighed 8lbs 8oz and measured 51cms long. The labour was a very long 20 hours and very stressful but the end result is totally worth it.

I couldn’t stay away, I miss blogging too much, despite my last two blog posts being a month apart each. I am thinking of getting another domain name though as too many people I know, even people from work, have read my blog. I miss the whole “blog atmosphere”. I still read my daily blogs every day and occasionally commented. I still searched from blog to blog for interesting posts. I came online every day, I even checked my stats every few days. It was too hard to ignore the big fat “closed” sign. So here it is, open again, whether that is a good thing or not. Maybe not for the visitors I have probably lost, but for myself to…vent and write. So in true “returning to to the blogosphere” style, heres a list of things that happened to me since I last blogged.

• My fiance has recovered from his injury and is back at work
• I have less than 30 days before my contract at work ends
• My family came down for Christmas and stayed for over 2 months
• I traded in my car bought a brand new, more economical car (from a 6 cylinder to a 4 cylinder)
• My younger sister started her first year of high school at a boarding school
• My kitten Thomas turned a full year old. He still looks like he is only 6 months old
• My baby nephew never stops smiling and he is growing so quick
• Speaking of babies, I’m having one myself, due in August. I can’t wait!
• I am in the process of turning the spare room into a baby room/office for myself and the baby

So thats my life so far. I am very excited about the baby, it is something I have wanted in so long. Tomorrow I will have a better (proper) blog post, for now this is just my mini-updates.

With all the hiatus’s I have had, all the times I have been away on holiday or moved apartments (did I mention I am moving on the weekend to a HOUSE!), or have a relative visiting, or am just damn busy with work, I haven’t had hardly any time to blog. When I do blog, I can never think of anything actually worth reading so I just churned out the same boring “Top Ten” posts. I have only just realised I haven’t written anything personal in while. Not that everyone loves personal stuff, but I feel like my blog isn’t about “me” anymore and just about random internet crap. The last time I wrote anything about me or my life was when I wrote about crappy buses.

It’s not that I didn’t have anything interesting to write (well, you be the judge) I had many things happen lately. From family drama, to Christmas stress, to getting a Wii (and getting addicted), to being chased in car by a lunatic and being forced to go double the speed limit, to the size Thomas (my hand-raised kitty) has grown. Any of those sound interesting?

So really I fail at blogging. Whilst I put a lot of time behind the scenes onto my site, and I am continually updating or re-doing pages, the blog is always the same boring crap. Wow I said crap four times in one blog.

So I thought, how can I make my blog more personal? I can write about previous experiences from years ago to a week ago, or I can write about something interesting that is coming up. I can write about new music I am into, what books I am reading. Come on, give me something.
